Enter Strain Guage Calibration Screen
7. Press the ON/STBY button on the treadmill display.

Press "Utilities."
Note: The next step requires pressing the hidden keypads in the upper right and left corners of the
displays touch screen.
9. Touch the top-right corner, top-left corner and then top-right corner successively to access
the "System Maintenance" menu on the display.
10. Press "System Maintenance."
11. Select "Treadmill Diagnostic Display."
Zero Setting
12. The strain gauge calibration screen shows the A/D counts for each gage located in each cor-
ner of the treadmill deck simultaneously. Verify that the calibration screen shows each gage
output to be between 0 and 10 counts when no one is standing on the treadmill.
Gain Mode Programming
13. Press the following switches in sequence: S2, S4, S1, S3. Note that the corresponding LED
will light and stay on with each switch press.
Gain Setting
Note: You must complete steps 14 through 26 in order to see the correct number of counts on the display for
each placement of the weight.
14. Place the 100-lb weight next to the right front side plate screw. The weight should be on the
belt and centered over the screw.
15. Press switch "S1." On the strain gauge board.
16. Verify that LED D1 turns on signifying successful calibration.
17. Place the 100 lbs next to the left front side plate screw. The weight should be on the belt and
centered over the screw.
18. Press switch "S2."
19. Verify that LED D2 turns on signifying successful calibration.
20. Place the 100 lbs next to the left rear side plate screw. The weight should be on the belt and
centered over the screw.
21. Press switch "S3."
22. Verify that LED D3 turns on signifying successful calibration.
23. Place the 100 lbs next to the right rear side plate screw. The weight should be on the belt and
centered over the screw.
24. Press switch "S4."
25. Verify that LED D4 turns on signifying successful calibration, then all LED’s should turn off.
26. Place the weight in each corner and verify a count of approximately 200 for each strain gauge.
27. Touch "Back" on the display 3 times to return to the main screen.
