6 Set up with the display and adjustment module

In the "
Special parameters
" menu item you gain access to the protected area where you can
enter special parameters. In exceptional cases, individual parameters can be modified in order
to adapt the sensor to special requirements.
Change the settings of the special parameters only after having contacted our service staff.
In the "
Instrument name
" menu, you read out the instrument name and the instrument serial
number.
In the "
Instrument version
" menu item, the hardware and software version of the sensor is dis-
played.
In the "
Factory calibration date
" menu item, the date of factory calibration of the sensor as well
as the date of the last change of sensor parameters are displayed via the display and adjust-
ment module or via the PC.
In the "
Sensor characteristics
" menu item, the features of the sensor such as approval, process
fitting, seal, measuring range, electronics, housing and others are displayed.
6.5 Saving the parameter adjustment data
We recommended noting the adjusted data, e.g. in this operating instructions manual, and ar-
chiving them afterwards. They are thus available for multiple use or service purposes.
If the instrument is equipped with a display and adjustment module, the data in the sensor can
be saved in the display and adjustment module. The procedure is described in the menu "Ad-
ditional adjustments" in the menu item "
Copy sensor data
". The data remain there permanently
even if the sensor power supply fails.
