Cleaning and oiling drive chain

This drive chain has special “O” rings that permanently seal grease inside. Clean and oil the chain

periodically as follows:

•

Clean the chain with kerosene. If the chain tend to rust the interval must be shortened. Kerosene is a

petroleum product and will provide some lubrication as well as cleaning action.

•

After thoroughly washing the chain and allowing it to dry, oil the links with proper chain lube or SAE 80

(90) oil.

CHAIN PAD

Check for the chain pad (

If the drive chain pad is worn, replace it with a new

one. To replace the pad consult your

Bimota

dealer.
