Description
Indicates the engine speed in revolutions per minute (rpm). Each
time the ignition switch is turned in “ON” position the indicator
needle of the tachometer runs to maximum position and then runs
back to 0.
The light is on when the gear is in neutral position. Each time the
ignition switch is turned in “ON” position all the indicator lights are
on and then they get their working status.
With the ignition switch in the “ON” position but the engine not
started, the light is on. As soon the engine is started, the indicator
light should go out. When the engine oil pressure drops under the
normal operating range, the indicator light comes on.
When the turn signal is being operated either to the right or to the
left, the indicator light will flash at the same time.
NOTE
: if turn signal is not operating properly due to bulb filament
or circuit failure, the indicator light flickers more quickly to notify
the rider of the existence of trouble.
The functions are:
Speedometer: indicates the road speed in miles per hour and/or
kilometers per hour.
Odometer: indicates the total distance that the motorcycle has
been ridden.
Trip meter: is resettable odometer and it indicates a partial distance
