Here is a list of these symbols and their meanings:
Weight stable symbol
Indicates that the weight value displayed is stable
and thus may be printed and/or transmitted.
Centre zero symbol
Indicates that the weight on the scale is near to
zero i.e. within -1/4 + 1/4 of a division.
Tare symbol
Indicates that there is a tare symbol memorized by
acquisition.
Tare symbol entered via the keyboard
Indicates that the tare value acquired has been
digitized via the keyboard.
Gross weight symbol
Net weight symbol
When the indication is on, this means that the tare
has been memorised by acquisition.
If the
indication is on at the same time, this
means that the tare has been entered via the
keyboard.
Weighing range indication for multi-extension
(ME) instruments
Unit of measurement of the displayed weight
If the indication flashes, this means that the weight
is within the minimum weighing range.
