11. Test fan
CAUTION
Do not expose the remote control to rain or water.
Congratulations! Installation is now complete. Turn on power, and then press any button
on the remote control to pair it with your fan. Test your fan using the remote (
Fig. 11 ).
Note: It is normal for the fan to jerk forward and backward slightly for a few seconds
when first turned on.

Press Auto to enable motion sensing and automatic fan speed adjustment
as room conditions change. To adjust your Auto preferences, download
