What this warranty covers

This Warranty is provided by Delta T Corporation dba Big Ass Fan Company of 2425 Merchant Street, 
Lexington, KY, USA, and covers the motor and other components of your Haiku ceiling fan against all 
defects in workmanship and materials. You must be the original purchaser or user of the Product to be 
covered.  

What is the period of coverage?

The Warranty Period commences on the date the Product is purchased. The Warranty Period is two (2) 
years for the motor, components, and accessories. Labor to repair the defect will be provided free of 
charge at our service center for defects arising in the first year.

What will we do?

During the Warranty Period, Big Ass Fan Company will, at its option and cost:
a)  Repair or replace the affected component(s) of any defective product;
b)  Repair or replace the defective product; or
c)  Refund the price you paid for the product upon return of the product to Big Ass Fan Company, 

shipping and insurance prepaid by you.

BIG ASS FAN COMPANY WILL SHIP THE REPAIRED PRODUCT OR REPLACEMENT TO YOU AT 
NO CHARGE. IF A CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN IS REQUIRED BY LAW TO HANG OR REPLACE THE 
FAN, BIG ASS FAN COMPANY WILL REIMBURSE YOU A STANDARD FEE OF THE EQUIVALENT OF 
$82.50 (INC. GST). YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL COSTS OF REMOVAL, REINSTALLATION, AND 
SHIPPING OF THE PRODUCT TO BIG ASS FAN COMPANY.

What steps are required to obtain warranty service?

YOU MUST HAVE PROOF OF PURCHASE OF THE PRODUCT TO OBTAIN THE BENEFITS OF THIS 
WARRANTY SERVICE. KEEP YOUR RECEIPT OR OTHER PROOF OF PURCHASE AND PROOF OF 
INSTALLATION BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
Contact the Haiku Technical Support Department as soon as possible after the issue is discovered by:
a)  Visiting our Web site at www.haikufan.com and submitting a Technical Support form; or
b)  Calling the technical support phone number for your country listed on our Web site at www.

haikufan.com.

If the Haiku Technical Representative determines that the warranty claim may be valid, he or she will 
advise you if the product or defective part must be returned to Big Ass Fan Company at the address 
set out above, or to such other address the Technical Support Representative advises. 
If the Haiku Technical Service Representative determines that the warranty claim may be valid and that 
a replacement part is required, the Representative will process the claim and issue a Return Materials 
Authorization (RMA) number.
You will be responsible for shipping the product and all insurance, freight, or other transportation 
charges to the Big Ass Fan Company service center. Your product should be properly packed to avoid 
damage in transit since Big Ass Fan Company will not be responsible for such damage.
Big Ass Fan Company will ship the repaired product or replacement to you at no charge; however, you 
are responsible for the cost of removal and reinstallation. Big Ass Fan Company reserves the right to 
use refurbished components in the repair of your fan.
