4. Attaching the saddle
Fit the saddle (21) in the direction of
the arrow, Fig.3, onto the saddle post
plate (18), making sure that the holes
in the saddle post are facing the front
part of the saddle, and tighten the nuts
securely.
5. Fitting the backrest support
Position de backrest “U” (22) in the
saddle post (18) Fig.4, fit the screws
(29) with the washers (19) and tighten
with the nuts (20).
6. Fitting the backrest
Position the backrest (26) in the
support (25) Fig.5.
Fit it with the screws (27) and washers
(6) Fig.5.
7. Fitting the saddle handgrip
Position the handgrip (23) in the
support (25) Fig.6. Insert the screws
(3), along with washers (6) and nuts
(20) and tighten securely.
Then insert the tube through the hole
Fig.7 of the main body (8), turn the
knob (17), set the post in a
comfortable position with the clamping
knob (17) and tighten in the direction
of clockwise.
8. Fitting the handlebar
Bring the handlebar (2) up to the
handlebar stem (8) Fig.8. Refit the
screws (28), the washers (20) and the
nuts (19) and tighten securely.
Insert the support (33) into the the
tube of handlebar (2) Fig.9. Fit the
safety pins (34).
Slide the monitor (1) on the handle (2)
and connect. Fig.10.
9. Attaching the pedals
The assembly instructions for the
pedals must be followed to the
letter, fitting these incorrectly could
damage the screw thread on the
pedal or the crank.
Right and left refer to the position that
the user adopts when sitting on the
saddle to do the exercises.
The right pedal (9) is marked with the
letter (R).This screws onto the right-
hand crank, also marked with an (R),
in a clockwise direction. Tighten
securely Fig.11.
The left pedal (16) is marked with the
letter (L).This screws onto the left-
hand crank, also marked with an (L),
in an anti-clockwise direction.
Tighten securely Fig.11.
10. Exertion settings
To provide an even level of exertion
during exercise, this appliance is
equipped with a tensioning control,
located on the main post, offering
various exertion settings, Fig.12.
To increase pedal resistance turn the
tensioning control clockwise (+) until
the exertion level best suits your
exercise requirements. To reduce
pedal resistance turn the tensioning
control anticlockwise (-).
