OPERATION
Warning:
the motor vehicle engine must never be started in a garage or other enclosed buildings.
When the engine is running, carbon monoxide is formed, which is life-threatening in closed areas.
Signs of carbon monoxide poisoning are similar to flu symptoms with headache, dizziness or nausea.
If you notice any of these signs, go outside to the fresh air immediately.
PREPARATION
1. Place the vehicle on a lifting platform or on safe car jack in a well-ventilated area.
2. Apply the parking brake and switch off the engine.
3. Locate the hose connections on the gearbox and radiator.
Follow all safety instructions and directions in this manual.
4. Place the automatic transmission oil exchange and flushing machine next to the vehicle.
5. Connect it to a fused power source (12 V, 50 Hz).
6. Keep the new transmission fluid or a cleaning agent at hand with the automatic transmission oil
exchange and flushing machine.
CLEANING CYCLE
1. Loosen the return line under the gearbox and automatic transmission cooler.
2. Connect the black hose of the transmission oil exchange and flushing machine (return line) to the
oil return connection under the gearbox (if necessary, using the adaptor or connecting pieces
supplied). Connect the other end of the black hose to the quick connector of the return connection
(
11
) on the transmission oil exchange and flushing machine. See figure below.
3. Route the red hose (feed line) from the quick connector of the feed connection (
10
) to the
transmission oil exchange and flushing machine to the oil feed connection of the automatic
transmission cooler.
4. Route the new oil line of the new oil tank (
12
) into an external cleaning agent container (to the
bottom). The approved cleaning agent can be obtained from the vehicle manufacturer's
maintenance manual.
5. Turn the (left) flow control switch (
4

6. Turn the (right) return control switch (
