Use of a PVC Treadmill Mat is highly recommended. Please make sure that your walking or running shoes are clean from
outside dirt and debris.
• Warning: To prevent electrical shock, be certain the treadmill is turned off and unplugged for cleaning or routine
maintenance.
• Important: Never use abrasives or solvents to clean the treadmill. To prevent damage to the computer, keep liquids away
and keep it out of direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• After each workout: Wipe off the console and other treadmill surfaces with a damp cloth.
• Weekly: Vacuum underneath and around the treadmill once per week.
MAINTENANCE OF RUNNING DECK AND RUNNING BELT
If you should have any questions, please do not hesitate to call 3G Cardio direct at 888-888-7985. It is very important
that proper procedures are followed specifically as written in this manual. Failure to do so may result in damage to the
treadmill and possible injury to users. Read and understand this owner’s manual before proceeding.
BELT ADJUSTMENT
All running belts are properly set at the factory but it is possible that during the “break in” period, belts may stretch or
be off-center after the initial use. Stretching is also normal during the break-in period. If you notice any belt rubbing or
burning smells, stop use immediately and call for maintenance.
Important: To tighten or align the belt, you should have the treadmill running at around 3.0 mph. If you need to adjust
the tension of the belt, be very careful to not over tighten it. You should only adjust the belt in 1/4 turn increments.
Aligning the Belt: Alignment is done with the left side bolt only. If you need to move the belt to the right, “tighten” the
(left side) bolt (turn to the right in 1/4 turns only). This will move the belt slightly to the right. If you need to align the
belt to the left, “loosen” the left side bolt (turn the bolt to the left in 1/4 turns only). This will move the belt to the left.
It can take up to 30 seconds to alter the position of the belt, so be patient.
Tightening the Belt: If your belt feels like it is slipping and needs to be tightened, adjust BOTH left and right side bolts
EVENLY in no more than 1/4 turn increments. Make a 1/4 turn adjustment on both sides and then wait 30 seconds
before reevaluating tension. If the belt is still not tight enough, repeat same step again. If you belt is not centered, please
follow the above steps first. Remember: do not over tighten your belt!
ADJUST THE MOTOR DRIVE BELT TENSION
The 3G Cardio 80i Fold Flat Treadmill is equipped with an auto tensioner for the motor drive belt.
TREADMILL LUBRICATION:
Lubricating under the tread belt will ensure superior performance and extend its life expectancy. Lubrication is available
from your local dealer or online. Any type of liquid high grade pure silicone is acceptable. Wipe the entire deck surface
with a clean, lint-free cloth to remove all dust and dirt.
