Firstly the following display appears.
1. Weight in kg
2. Body fat in % with interpretation of BF
3. Body water in %
4. Muscle percentage in %
5. Bone mass in kg
6. Active metabolic rate in kcal
switching off the scale
The scale and the control panel switch off automatically after 10 minutes. While you adjust the settings it
takes 90 seconds before the control panel automatically switches off.
Hold the „[SET/ON]“ button depressed for 3 seconds to switch off the display module manually.
Make sure that you always switch on the scale first and wait for the display to show „
0.0
“ (Fig. 2) before
stepping on it.
10. evaluation of results
Body fat percentage
Body fat content is evaluated with the arrow on the left edge of the display. The following body fat percen -
tages are guide values (contact your physician for further information).
Man Woman
A lower value is often found in athletes. Depending on the type of sports, training intensity and physical
constitution, values may result which are below the recommended values stated. It should, however, be
noted that there could be a danger to health in the case of extremely low values.
Body water percentage
The body water percentage is normally within the following ranges:

Body fat contains relatively little water. Therefore persons with a high body fat percentage have body wa -
ter percentages below the recommended values. With endurance athletes, however, the recommended
values could be exceeded due to low fat percentages and high muscle percentage.
This scale is unsuitable for measuring body water in order to draw medical conclusions concerning age-
related water retention, for example. If necessary ask your physician. Basically, a high body water percen -
tage should be the aim.
