3.11.6 CHECKING AND COUPLING
COUNTERSHAFT
Check the state of use of the areas where the
shaft rests on the bearing. Should they show
signs of abnormal wear, have the shaft repla-
ced. Make sure that the toothed segment of the
shaft does not have traces of abnormal wear.
Grease the oil seal and insert the countershaft
in its seat. Position it so that the reference sign
on the shaft is between the two reference signs
on the main gear.
