503 Bypass LED
When the UPS is providing power directly from line through the static bypass switch, the Bypass LED is on as
shown. This happens during an overload, if the UPS cannot run on battery power because of an inverter failure,
or if you press the
button. (If the UPS transferred to bypass automatically, see Section 504 to find the exact
cause.) If the cause of the bypass was an overload, the UPS can automatically transfer back to normal operation
after the overload has been removed.
504 Alarm LED
Whenever the red LED at the top of the front panel is on or flashing, the UPS has detected a problem. The UPS
will also sound an alarm tone/beep to notify you of the problem. When this happens, use the table on the next
page to determine the cause of the problem and how you should react.
To silence the alarm, press the
button.
Important:
Silencing the alarm does not solve the problem that caused it.
If you need to contact Best Power because of the alarm, make sure that you have your unit’s model number and
serial number available when you call.
