Presser foot no. 15 for embroidery
· attach the embroidery foot no. 15
· raise the presser foot so that the
embroidery hoop can be attached
Lower the feed dog
· press the button on the right side
of the sewing computer to lower
the feed dog
Straight stitch plate
(optional accessory)
· remove the standard stitch plate
· the straight stitch plate has a small
needle hole
· the stitch insertion points (upper
and lower thread knotting) are
limited which produces a better
embroidery result
Threading the sewing computer
See sewing computer instruction manual, pages 8–10
· when using glossy or slippery
embroidery threads, slip the net
over the upper thread spool
· this prevents the thread slipping
and gives an even thread feed
Note:
When using metallic or specialty
threads, using the vertical spool pin
may also help avoid problems.
Multi-spool thread stand
(optional accessory)
Designed for embroidery, the stand
holds 13 spools at once for conveni-
ent threading and sewing of designs.
Needles for embroidery
· use a size 80 or 90 needle,
depending on the thread
· use an embroidery or metafil
needle for decorative or
metallic threads
· use a new needle
· make sure the needle is in the
highest position so that you can
attach the embroidery hoop
