1. INTRODUCTION AND SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing a high-quality Berger LED television.
We hope you enjoy your new television. Even if you are familiar with the use of similar ap-
pliances, please read this operating manual to become more familiar with all the functions
of the television.
Safety instructions
For your own safety and to prevent unnecessary damage to your television, please read and
observe the following safety instructions before using the television:
Intended use and environmental conditions:
This television is intended solely for the reception and reproduction of picture and sound
signals. It must not be operated in rooms with high humidity (e.g. bath or sauna). The war-
ranty is only granted for use in the specified permissible environment.
If the unit is used outdoors, ensure that it is protected from moisture (rain, dripping and
splashing water). High humidity causes leakage currents in the unit. This can lead to a risk
of contact with voltages or a fire. If you have brought the unit out of the cold into a warm
environment, leave it switched off for about one hour because of the possible formation of
condensation moisture.
Do not place any objects filled with liquid or burning candles on the unit. Depending on
the mounting or stand solution selected, there is a risk of crushing between the TV housing
and the stand. When turning the TV set, make sure that no fingers or objects are in this
area. Batteries pose a potential choking hazard. Therefore, do not allow children to open
the battery storage compartment.
Transport:
Hold the unit by the edges of the housing at the bottom and top.
The display is made of glass or plastic and may break if handled improperly. No guarantee
will be given for damage caused by external influences.
Power supply:
Incorrect voltages may damage the unit. This unit may only be connected to a 12V or, via a
suitable power supply unit, to a 230V AC mains supply.
Lay the power supply cable so that it cannot be damaged. The mains or connection cable
must not be bent or laid over sharp edges, must not be walked on and must not be exposed
to chemicals - the latter applies to the entire unit! A power cable with damaged insulation
can cause electric shocks and is a fire hazard.
If the TV set is operated on the 230V mains, the mains plug of the TV set must be easily
accessible so that the set can be disconnected from the mains at any time. When discon-
necting the mains plug, do not pull on the cable but on the plug housing.
