ADJUSTING THE HEIGHT OF THE
ENGINE SUPPORT
NOTE:
Adjusting the height of the engine support is
very important for the good working order of the
snowblower’s drive system.
1. Measure the height
(h)
from the middle of the
engine shaft to its base (figure below).
ASSEMBLY

2. Align the holes
(A or B)
of the engine support
(item 1)
with the holes of the hitch
(item 2)
. If the
height
(h)
of the engine shaft is about
6 1/4" (160mm) use the holes
B
, if the height
(h)
of
the engine shaft is about 5 3/8" (135mm) use holes
A
. Insert four hex bolts 3/8" x 1"
(item 3)
in the
aligned holes and secure everything in place with
four nylon insert lock nuts 3/8"
(item 4)
.
Height of engine support
NOTE:
An appropriate choice of holes
(A or B)
will
respect a distance of 13 5/8" (321mm) between the
middle of the engine shaft and the middle of the gear
box shaft.
