CLOSING OF THE IRONING WORK STATION
• Put a foot on the adjustable balancer (13) and force downwards. Act on the control lever and lift
slightly the ironing surface (10) to unlock the board from the open position. Hold the board during
the descent until the complete closing of the same (see Fig. I).
IT IS ABSOLUTELY FORBIDDEN TO CARRY OUT BOARD CLOSING OPERATIONS BEFORE HAVING
REMOVED THE IRON OR THE IRONING SYSTEM FROM THE IRONREST BASE (8) AND WITHOUT
HOLDING THE BOARD DURING THE DESCENT. It is important to hold the board with the hands
during the descent in order to prevent damages to the floor or injuring.
NOTES:
The heating, suction/blowing ironing board allows you to make optimum use of your ironing
system.
In fact, it allows you to:
• dry fabrics very quickly
• prevent steam from going towards the person who is doing the ironing;
• prevent the formation of condensate;
• during the suction phase, make fabrics adhere to the board, making therefore ironing easier and
more precise;
• during the blowing phase, create an air cushion underneath the board length of fabric that
makes the ironing of delicate fabrics easier. During this function it is necessary to pay attention to
use iron gently, in order not to enter into contact with the board surface.
•
The board cannot be put away in stand position if it is not propped against a backing
surface.
