5. Close the lid completely

Place lid on cooker aligning locking pin with the condensation cup area. Rotate the lid counterclockwise approxi-
mately 30 degreed until locking pin clicks into place.

6. Position the pressure release handle properly

When running any of the programs except "Keep-Warm" or "Slow 
Cook", align the pointed end of the pressure release handle to 
"Pressure" position, indicating that the pressure cooker is in the 
sealed position.
The "Slow Cook" and “Keep-Warm” functions can operate with or 
without the lid.
Caution: When the lid is closed while initiating the “Keep Warm” or 
“Slow Cook” program, the pressure release valve must be in the 
“STEAM” position.

HOW TO OPERATE

SLOW COOK SETTING

Before each use, check to be sure that the rubber gasket and the pressure regulator valve are clean and 
positioned properly.
1. Place the lid on the Pressure Cooker and turn it counter-clockwise until it locks into place. (The locking 
pin will click into place)
2. Turn the pressure regulator valve to PRESSURE.
3. Choose the desired cooking mode by pressing RICE, FISH, MEAT, SOUP or BEAN on the control panel. 
The light on the button will flash and the digital display will show relative numbers as 3 for FISH, 6 for 
RICE, 15 for MEAT, 25 for SOUP and 30 for BEAN. (This equals respectively 3 minutes, 6 minutes, 15 

minutes, 25 minutes and 30 minutes).

4. Set the desired cooking time by pressing the button of RICE, FISH

MEAT, SOUP or BEAN. Available cooking 

time for each function as below:

Fish function: from 3 minutes to 20 minutes 

Rice function: from 5 minutes to 15 minutes 

Meat function: from 15 minutes to 30 minutes 

Soup function: from 25 minutes to 40 minutes 

Bean function: from 30 minutes to 60 minutes

5. The unit will begin to count down in minutes, after the appropriate pressure has been reached. (The floating 

valve will rise when the pressure is reached). The pressure cooker will beep at the end of the cooking time.

6. When cooking is finished, let the pressure drop on its own (also called the natural release feature), or release 

immediately by turning the pressure regulator valve towards STEAM in short bursts (also called the quick release 

method) until the pressure is reduced.

CAUTION:

 When turning the knob to release pressure, hot steam/ liquid will be ejected. Do not hold the 

pressure regulator knob. Keep hands and face away from steam vents,use pot holders when removing the inner 

pot or touching any hot items,and never force the lid open. The lid will only open once the pressure is released. 

Remove the lid by lifting it away from you to avoid being burned by the steam.

1. Place the removable cooking pot in the pressure cooker.
2. Place the food to be slow cooked in the cooking pot.
3. Place the self-locking lid onto the removable cooking pot and turn the pressure regulator valve to STEAM.
4. Press the SLOW COOK button. The light on the button will flash and the digital display will read 3 (This 
equals 3 hours of cooking time.)
5. Set the desired time by pressing the button once for each additional half hour or by continuously holding 
the button down. The longest cooking time is 9 hours.
6. Press the WARM/CANCEL button to begin cooking. The indicator light will stop flashing.
7. If you forget to select a desired cooking time or forget to press the WARM/CANCEL button, the unit will 
beep twice and the digital display will read 0.0 after 30 seconds.
8. When the cooking time is up the unit will beep.

DELAY TIME SETTING

This function allows you to begin cooking food up to 8 hours later in half hour increments. You can use the 
delayed time setting with slow cook, steam, high and low pressure. CUATION: Perishable foods such as meat 
and poultry products, fish, cheese and dairy products cannot be left at room temperature for more than 2 
hours. (No longer than 1 hour when the room temperature is above 90F.) When cooking these foods, do not 
set the delay time fuction for more than 1-2 hours.
