PRESSURE COOKER
STAINLESS STEEL HOUSING
The housing contains the electronics, the buttons, and the heating element. Always use with the interior
cooking pot in place. NEVER ADD INGREDIENTS DIRECTLY TO THE HOUSING. Cleaning by wiping with a
soft, damp cloth. NEVER submerge in water.
PRESSURE RELEASE VALVE
Pressure release valve swith controls the steam in the pressure cooker with 3 functions STEAM, PRESSURE
& CLEAN. STEAM: Valve is in the up position, steam from pot can escape. PRESSURE: Valve is in down
position, seals and builds pressure in the pot. CLEAN: Valve can be removed to be cleaned.
FLOATING VALVE
Safety feature. As the cooker builds pressure, this valve is pushed up which creates a seal, locking the lid.
PRESSURE SAFETY VALVE
Safety feature that allows excess pressure to escape if too much pressure builds up.
SELF LOCKING LID
Safety lid that will not open until no pressure remains in the pot.
SEALING RING/GASKET
Silicone ring that creates an airtight seal that lets the pressure cooker come to pressure.
ANTI-BLOCK SHIELD
Metal shield covers the opening of the pressure release valve. It prevents food and foam from entering the
pressure release valve.
CONDENSATION COLLECTOR
Catches excess moisture that is released during cooking.
