5.8.2 Determining KLN 90B Software Status And
Operational Time
The Status 3 page (figure 5-103) displays the software
revision status of the KLN 90B host computer and of the
GPS receiver. A field called OBS CAL is also included
on this page. This value indicates the calibration of the
internal resolver circuitry of the KLN 90B. If for some
reason your KLN 90B requires service, the information
on this page may be useful.
The Status 4 page displays the KLN 90B’s total opera-
tional time and also the number of times the unit has
been turned on (figure 5-104). Kind of like having a built
in Hobbs meter, isn’t it! These values are set to zero if
the KLN 90B’s nonvolatile memory is cleared.
