SPEED/HEAT SETTINGS

Your dryer features a speed switch and a heat switch for a
choice of two speeds and six heat settings (B).
• Use high or medium heats/speed for most styling procedures

and hair types.

• Select lower heats/speed for drying and styling permed,

color-treated or fragile hair.

DRYER ATTACHMENTS
Caution: Attachments will be hot during use. Allow them to cool before
handling.
Air Concentrator

Use it to direct air flow to a small section of hair at a time.
1. To attach, grip firmly and push into end of barrel (C).
2. When finished, turn off unit, let it cool completely then pull

off air concentrator.

Thermal Ceramic Styling Pik

Use it to lift, smooth, and build body and volume into permed
or naturally curly hair. The heat-activated, ceramic strip at the
base of the styling teeth helps smooth and soften the curl
pattern in overly curly or frizzy hair.
1. To attach the styling pik, grip firmly and push into end of

barrel until it snaps into place (D).

2. Comb the hair repeatedly with the pik from the scalp down.
3. When finished, turn off unit, let it cool completely then pull off styling pik.

Care and Cleaning

This appliance is permanently lubricated and will not require any additional
lubrication. It contains no user serviceable parts. Refer service to qualified
service personnel.

CLEANING

1. Turn off unit, unplug and let it cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth. DO NOT LET WATER OR

ANY OTHER LIQUID GET INTO THE APPLIANCE.

3. Clean air-intake grille with a small brush to remove lint or

hair buildup.

a. To remove, grasp the top and bottom of the grille, turn

counterclockwise and pull off (E).

b. To replace grille, insert tabs into slots on the dryer and turn

clockwise until grille locks into place.

STORAGE

• Store dryer in a clean, dry place with cord loosely coiled.
• Do not put any stress on cord where it enters the handle, as it could cause cord

to fray and possibly break.

Before returning unit for service:

Clean air-intake grille as well as fixed grille

attached to the unit with a small brush or a vacuum cleaner brush attachment.
Then try to operate unit again.
