NOTE
If FADEC faults are recorded and engine was
operated above 109.6% engine torque, OEI
overtorque has occurred. Refer to following
step 2

If the ECU did not record any FADEC faults, indicating a
properly functioning ECU, and provided the 2 minutes and/or
the 30 seconds limits are not exceeded, no maintenance is
required on the helicopter drivetrain system. Clear OEI
maintenance advisory light using MT35 program.

Perform engine overtorque inspection as required.

NOTE
An OEI overtorque is an incident where engine
torque is greater than the allowed limits as follows:
Operation at 98% to 105.3% engine torque for period
greater than 2 minutes continuous.
Operation at or above 105.3% engine torque for
period greater than 30 seconds continuous.
Operation above 109.6% engine torque with FADEC
in Manual MODE, Degraded MODE or Failed Fixed
MODE.
Operation above 109.6% for period longer than 16
seconds.

When an OEI overtorque occurs, do the steps that follow:

Verify the maintenance pages of both IIDS screens for
any exceedances. Review ECU engine faults, engine
exceedances and engine history data pages.
