Removing the front cooling fan

Removing the front cooling fan

1. Perform the procedure for

"Removing the mid-cooling fan" on page 86

up to

step 3.

2. Remove the front cooling fan assy.

(1) Disconnect the fan power cable from the motherboard.
(2) Remove the screw (with a spring and small washer).
(3) Remove the front cooling fan assy.

3. Detach the front cooling fan from the fan bracket.

(1) Remove the tapping screws.
(2) Detach the front cooling fan.

NOTE: To attach the fan to the fan bracket, make sure of their directions shown in

the figure above.
