Programming
Printer Set-up (Screen 7)
Press the <ENTER> key after the instructors explanation to proceed. The following screen will appear:
Here you can place messages directly on your receipts. Messages will appear at the bottom of the receipt, thus the
term “Closing Line”. There are 3 lines available for messages. After completing the first message, press <ENTER>
to proceed to the next message line. Once all messages have been entered, move on to the next area of programming.
Note:
Entering messages on your receipt is optional. You do not have to have any at all if so
desired.
The images below are an example of messages that can be used. Notice the “Step Numbers” advance as you
progress through.
Note:
Make sure you SAVE after each screen has been programmed. Review you programming
frequently.
Press the <ENTER> key. The following screen will appear:
This screen is for time stamping your receipts. In order for your entry to be accepted, all fields must be entered
correctly. As you type information on the system , the cursor moves from right to left. See the example below for
details.
The image is an example of how to input the numbers for time stamping your receipts.
The “hours” are in military time. The “Day of the Week” is input with a numeric value whereas
1 =
Sunday, 2 = Monday
, etc.
Make sure you SAVE after each option has been programmed. Review you programming frequently.
