8.8 Operating the SENTA PUR L
The seat of the SENTA PUR L combination bathing lift is raised or lowered by means
of the handset, which is included in the delivery.
•
Pushing the
button raises the seat.
•
Pushing the
button lowers the seat.
Please check that no obstacle is underneath the seat when the seat is moving.
The SENTA PUR L combination bathing lift is equipped with an automatic protection
device against collision.
If the device encounters an obstacle during the lowering procedure, the electrical
motor is automatically switched off. In this case, raise the lift and remove the obstacle.
After that, you can use the lift as usual.
The rear castors are equipped with parking brakes.
Engage the castors when lifting
a patient
in order to avoid any unintentional and uncontrolled movement of the
SENTA PUR L combination bathing lift.
Travel path
When using the SENTA PUR L combination bathing lift, make sure that the travel path
of the combination bathing lift is not narrowed by obstacles or other elements (e.g. wall
racks, etc.). Remember also that the maximum height is limited to 1375 mm. Take
extreme care when passing through door frames.
When the battery is folded back, the bathing lift can pass through a door with a
clearance width of 90 cm. In this case, it is irrelevant whether you use the bathing lift
as seat either as stretcher lift.
