5.1 Rack mounting
The BEHRINGER ULTRA-DYNE PRO fits into two standard 19" rack units of space (3 1/2"). Please allow at
least an additional 4" depth for the connectors on the back panel.
Be sure that there is enough space around the unit for cooling and please do not place the ULTRA-DYNE
PRO on high temperature devices such as power amplifiers to avoid overheating.
5.2 AC power connection
Please ensure that the ULTRA-DYNE PRO is set to the correct supply voltage before connecting the
unit to the AC power system!
Three triangular markings can be found on the fuse holder at the AC power
connection socket. Two of these three triangles will be aligned with one another. The ULTRA-DYNE PRO is
set to the operating voltage shown next to these markings and can be switched over by twisting the fuse holder
by 180°.
IMPORTANT: This does not apply to export models designed only for 115 V AC!
The power connection of the ULTRA-DYNE PRO is made with a standard power supply cable and IEC
receptacle. It meets all of the international safety certification requirements.

Please make sure that all units have a proper ground connection. For your own safety, never
remove or disable the ground conductor of the unit or of the power supply cable.
5.3 Analog audio connections
As standard, the BEHRINGER ULTRA-DYNE PRO is installed with electronically servo-balanced inputs and
outputs. If you have the option of using balanced connections to other equipment, please take advantage of
them to ensure a maximum of interference suppression.

Please ensure that only qualified persons install and operate the unit. Take care that the
persons doing the handling are always adequately grounded during and after the installation
due to the electrostatically sensitive nature of the unit.
