To replace a tine do the following:
1. Remove M14x40 bolt and M14 nut holding the tine that needs replacing.
2. Remove tine clip and tine and replace new tine making sure to assemble it so the
tine is leading the arm when operating
(see fig. 20)

3. Replace M14x40 bolt and M14 nut and tighten

It is suggested that the following spare parts be kept on hand for the tedder at all times
to prevent a minor problem from delaying work.

5.04 - Storage
After seasonal use it is important to perform the following for prolonged storage:
1. Wash the tedder carefully.
2. Inspect the tedder and replace worn or damaged parts.
3. Tighten all hardware.
4. Grease all areas indicated under Maintenance

5. Touch up scratches by sanding the area and applying a light coat of primer and paint
to prevent rust from forming.
6. Cover the tedder from the elements in order to have it in perfect condition for the
start of the next season.
7. Make sure all parked machines are on a hard, level surface, and engage all safety
devices.
8. Do not permit children to play on or around the stored unit.
