Operation
Operating Buttons
On / Off button
The device can be switched on and off with the
On / Off button (

). The control lamp in the
button lights up as soon as the device is switched on.
Keep-warm button
The
keep-warm button (

) is used to switch on the keep-warm function. The control lamp in
the button pulses as soon as the function has been switched on.
Temperature Buttons
The temperature buttons (
10 – 13
) are used to set the temperature of the water. The following
settings can be selected:
70°C
ideal for very delicate types of tea (white or green tea)
80°C
ideal for oolong tea
90°C
ideal for fruit tea
100°C
ideal for black tea, herbal tea / boiling water
Removing / Attaching the Lid
1. Hold the lid (

) by the lid handle (

) and pull it off.
If the device is being used with the optional tea strainer, this is thus removed from the kettle at
the same time.
If the device was in operation, use potholders as the lid handle may be hot and hot water
may drip from the tea strainer. Always allow the device to cool down before
fi
lling it again.
2. To close the device, place the lid back on the kettle. When you do this, make sure that it
fi
ts
correctly and engages audibly.
Filling the Kettle
Only ever
fi
ll the kettle (

) with fresh, clear tap water. Do not pour in any other liquids.
1. Open the lid (

2. Pour the quantity of water you want (maximum 1.7 litres) into the kettle. Note the
MIN
marking

marking (

).
3. Close the lid (see the “Operation” chapter | “Removing / Attaching the Lid”).
