3. Direct the steam nozzle (

) towards the drip tray (

) or into an empty vessel.
4. Start the steaming process as soon as the temperature lamp (

) is lit up by turning the selec-
tor switch (

) to the
position. The device starts to emit steam, and any existing conden-
sation is drained away.
5. Turn the selector switch to the position as soon as steam emerges continuously from the
steam nozzle.
6. Pour milk at fridge temperature with a fat content of at least 2% to a level of roughly two-
thirds in a container with a handle for frothing.
Caution!
The container must be large enough as the milk will expand when it froths up.
7. Direct the steam nozzle into the frothing container and immerse it in the milk.
8. Start the frothing process by turning the selector switch to the
position.
9. First hold the steam nozzle just below the surface of the milk to warm it up. Once the milk is
warm to the touch, hold the steam nozzle at the bottom of the frothing container so that the
milk is swirled around.
10. Once the milk froth is of the desired consistency, turn the selector switch to the position
and pull the frothing container down and outwards.
After switching off the production of steam, the device drains excess water into the drip
tray.
11. Tap the frothing container one to two times on a solid surface to compress the milk froth.
12. Pour the milk froth into the drinking vessel or scoop it with a spoon.
13. Clean the steam nozzle after each use to prevent any blockage (see the “Cleaning and Care”
chapter – “Cleaning the Steam Nozzle”).
Empty the drip tray after preparation so that it cannot over
fl
ow if you prepare another
drink.
14. If you no longer wish to use the device, press the On / Off switch for approx. three seconds. The
device switches off and the operating lamp goes out.
If the device is not switched off manually, it automatically switches off after 30 minutes in
stand-by mode.
