Installation of Accessories on Instrument Deck
Refer to drawing in section 5.2 above and follow instructions below to assemble accessories
correctly:
Priming Trough
Position priming trough on the dimples in front of the
pump assembly - it will only fit one way.
Sample Carousel
Position the sample carousel on the carousel holder to the
front left of the deck (note the locating pin protruding
from the holder).
Reagent Bottle
Holder
Position reagent bottle holder on the dimples in front of
the tray table - it will only fit one way.
Tip Rack Holder
Position tip rack holder on the dimples in front of the
Reagent Bottle Holder - it will only fit one way.
Tip Waste Trough
Position waste tip trough on the dimples to the immediate
right of the Reagent Bottle Holder and Tip Rack Holder - it
will only fit one way
Wash Bottle / Holder Position wash bottle to the right of the trayholder, in its
dedicated holder, and place colour lid onto bottle as per
the colour coding.
Wash / Water Bottles
& Lids
Place bottles into Preheater/Holder, and place colour lids
onto bottles. Connect to the appropriate colour-coded
tubing.
Tray (Strip Holder)
Place strip holder onto table - it will only fit one way.
Failure to install the accessories into the correct positions on the deck, can lead to the
instrument erroring.
