M-2802 SLIMcom – 7

Installation

An installation utility has been provided as a part
of SLIMcom™. After installation, the program can
be run from the hard drive by choosing the SLIM-
com icon from the Start menu.

System Setup

Connect a null-modem cable from the COMM
port of the control to the PC serial port.

7.2

Description

This section describes each SLIMcom

 

menu

selection and explains the commands in the same
order as they are displayed in the software
program.

When SLIMcom is run, a Metering Status screen
is displayed (see Figure 7-2, below).

NOTE: If no control is attached to the PC, then

zero values will appear on the Metering Status
screen.
