Disassembly and disposal
Before you can remove the Industrial PC, you must first disconnect the power supply and the cables (see
chapter 6.1
Disconnecting the power supply and cables [
Regardless of whether you have mounted the Industrial PC inside or outside a control cabinet, you must
proceed in the same way for disassembly. To do this, loosen the fastening screws at the marked points (see
Fig. 21) with which the mounting concept is fixed to the wall. Be sure to hold the device while loosening and
removing the screws.

Disassembly EtherCAT P Box module
If you have mounted the EtherCAT P Box module directly at the PC, you have to follow the following steps
for disassembly (see Fig. 22):
1. Loosen the two M3x16 screws securing the module to the mounting rail (section A).
2. Remove the module (section B).
3. Loosen the four M5x16 screws that secure the mounting rail to the side panel of the PC (section C).
4. Remove the mounting rail (section D).
