Mounting EtherCAT P Box module
The integrated EtherCAT P connection of the Industrial PC enables you to connect actuators/sensors directly
via IP67-protected EtherCAT P Box modules. These act as EtherCAT P slaves, while the C7015 is used as
master. For more information on the Box modules, refer to the
documentation.
You have two options for mounting the modules:
• The separate mounting of the modules in the immediate vicinity of the Industrial PC.
• Direct mounting on the Industrial PC via a separate mounting bracket (order designation: C9900-
M688).
To mount the module to the PC using the mounting bracket, follow the steps below, shown in Figure 16:
1. Mount the mounting bracket on the side panel of the Industrial PC using the four M5x8 screws (section
A).
2. Mount the module to the mounting bracket using the two M3x16 screws (section B).
