Navigational mode
The control bar disappears:
• after 3 seconds if no key is pressed.
Information rows
While directions are being given, a ma-
ximum of three information rows may
be displayed (or hidden) with the follo-
wing details:
• Current street or next street
• Estimated arrival time, journey time
to destination, remaining distance to
destination (this row is displayed
with a flag).
• Estimated arrival time at interim des-
tination (stopover), journey time and
remaining distance to interim desti-
nation (this row is displayed with a
flag and an additional marking peg).

Settings menu using the Route info
button, page 54.
Zooming and the map (toolbar)
You can gradually zoom in and out of
the map display using the zoom keys in
the top two corners of the touchscreen.

Press Zoom in
: to expand or
"zoom in on the map" and view indivi-
dual features more closely.

Press Zoom out
: to "zoom out
from the map" and get a broader over-
view of the area.
Display route (toolbar)
With this map, the map is automatically
zoomed out so that the entire route is dis-
played. The Display route function is
only activated when a route has been se-
lected for driving guidance.

Press the Route key.
The map is expanded and the specific
route destinations are displayed.
Position and display mode (toolbar)
You can select a number of different
functions with the position key while
driving guidance is active.
• When the position key is activated,
the map is automatically displayed
in such a way that the position icon
is roughly located in the centre of
the map. The map itself moves con-
stantly.
This function is automatically selected
when driving guidance is started.
Important!
Make sure that you adjust the volume so
you can still hear all ambient noise pro-
perly.
