The MINICALL is a baby alarm / monitor that allows you to wirelessly listen
to the sounds being picked up by the microphone in the transmitting unit.
INTENDED USE
The MINICALL is a sound alarm / detector for household use only. The
MINICALL can never be a replacement for the physical presence of parents,
baby sitters or caregivers.
VOX MODE
The MINICALL baby monitor is equipped with a VOX MODE in which the
transmitter is in standby mode automatically when your baby is sleeping
quietly and only switches on when this is necessary, i.e. only when your baby
is crying.
INSTALLATION
PARENT UNIT
• The parent unit is powered by the 2 included rechargeable batteries. These
batteries are charged through the included power adaptor.
• Remove the battery cover at the rear of the parent unit. Unscrew the battery
door using a small screwdriver.
• Insert the rechargeable batteries according to the markings inside the
battery compartment, please pay attention to the polarity (+ and -).
• Replace the battery cover. Screw back battery cover.
• For the first use connect the supplied adaptor to the parent unit and plug
it to a 120 Volt plug, then you can use any micro USB power adaptor to
plug / recharge.
• Please charge the parent unit continuously for 15 hours to properly charge
the battery pack.
ATTENTION! Insert the batteries into the parent unit first and then
connect the power adaptor.
The Parent unit can be used :
• With supplied rechargeable Ni-MH batteries
• While plugged with batteries inside (charging mode)
• While plugged without batteries inside
• With regular batteries
WARNING: the unit can be used with regular batteries (non
rechargeable), if you plug the unit while using regular batteries, the
unit will switch to USB power input and will not charge batteries.
Charging function can only be used with supplied Ni-MH rechargeable
batteries. For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near
the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
BABY-UNIT
The baby-unit is powered by the supplied power adaptor. Connect the power
adaptor with the Micro USB connection to the Baby unit and plug the power
adaptor in a 120 Volt plug. You can also use any micro USB adaptor rated
5V 500mA.

FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with the Béaba accessories supplied
or designated for this product. Use of other accessories may not ensure
compliance with FCC RF exposure guidelines.

Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this device may not
cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including
interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

LISTENING
To turn ON or OFF baby or parent unit press the POWER button for 3 seconds.
Once linked as soon as the baby unit detects any sound, this sound will be
transmitted to the parent unit.
RECEPTION VOLUME
You can set the volume (10 sound off) with the keys + and - on the
parent unit. Upon reaching the maximum or minimum volume, an extra beep
tone will sound when you press the + or - button.
OPTICAL SOUND NOTIFICATION
The lowest position is "silent mode" in which the parent unit doesn't emit
sound but in which you can still monitor baby using 3 sound indicator LED.
