5. PREPARATION
5.1 Fuel
DANGER
• Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous. Check
“SAFETY INFORMATION” carefully before
filling.
• Do not overfill the fuel tank, otherwise it may
overflow when the fuel warms up and expands.
• After filling, make sure the fuel tank cap is
tightened securely.
NOTICE
• Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a clean and dry cloth. Fuel
may deteriorate painted surfaces or plastic parts if left on them.
• Use only unleaded gasoline. The use of leaded gasoline will cause
severe damage to internal engine parts.
Remove the fuel tank cap and fill the fuel into the tank up to the red
level.

NOTICE
• Check oil level and condition before starting the engine. If oil is
in poor condition, ensure that you drain it and replace with fresh,
clean oil. Fill to the correct amount, but do not overfill.
5.2 Engine oil
1. Place the generator on a level surface.
2. Turn the oil service knob to “OPEN” and remove the service door.
