Server Installation
After the Event Manager computer system is properly set up and configured,
proceed with the installation process.
1.
Connect the hardware key to the parallel port of the computer. For
instruction, refer to
Installing the Hardware Key .
2.
Complete the steps in Starting the Server Installation Program .
The Select Destination Directory Dialog Box opens ( Figure 5-1 ).

This dialog box displays the default directory and subdirectories created by
the installation program when installing the Event Manager.
• If you want to change the directory where files will be installed, click on
Browse.

The Select Subcomponent Option dialog box opens. Make sure both the
Service
and
Database
check boxes are selected.
