This technical information contains useful and important information for the correct installation, commissioning and

operation of the BAXI Stainless Steel Solar tank, types UBSS 250 DC and UBSS 260 SC.

PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLING THE BAXI STAINLESS STEEL

SOLAR WATER HEATER. INCORRECT INSTALLATION MAY INVALIDATE THE WARRANTY.

THE WATER HEATER MUST BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED INSTALLER IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL

PLUMBING, BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL REGULATIONS. If in doubt, please contact the Sales Support department

for further details or clarification.

The BAXI Stainless Steel Solar water heater is a thermal storage water heater. It is designed to be indirectly heated

by means of a solar thermal primary heating circuit. The twin coil version can also be connected to the primary heating

circuit of a conventional boiler. The single coil version has the facility to connect an electrical immersion heater to

provide an auxiliary method of heating the stored water.
