WARNING: Do not tamper with any safety valves or controls supplied with the BAXI Stainless Steel Solar
water heater as this will invalidate the warranty.
Important
- Any servicing should only be carried out by authorised Baxi S.p.A. Service Engineers or agents or by competent
installers in the installation and maintenance of solar water heating systems.
- Any Spare Parts used must be authorised BAXI S.p.A. parts
- Disconnect the electrical supply before removing any electrical equipment covers.
- Never bypass any thermal controls or operate the system without the necessary safety valves.
- Water contained in the storage cylinder may be very hot, especially after a thermal control failure. Take care when
draining water from the unit.
- The Troubleshooting Guide will enable some operational problems and their possible causes and remedies to be
identified. If in doubt contact the BAXI S.p.A. Service Department for advice.

Check all thermal controls are set to
give sufficient storage temperature
Heat exchange coils are covered with
limescale
Clean limescale from unit
Water is discharged from the Pressure
Relief Valve (safety valve)
The pressure of the mains water
supply exceeds 6.5 bar
Install a Pressure Reducing Valve set
at 4.5bar in the mains water supply
The valve is blocked with dirt
Clean the valve and install a water
filter in the mains water supply
