Error messages

Over and above the flow temperature, the display on the instrument panel
of the boiler controls also shows error messages. The error messages appear
as flashing codes.
01 Stop because of the absence of a flame signal caused by lack of gas,

incomplete ignition of the burner or error in the message system. In
order to restore normal operation, press the restart button (3) on the
instrument panel.

02 Triggering of the overheat thermostat caused by excess temperature in

the boiler. In order to re-establish normal operation, press the reset
button (2) on the instrument panel.

05 Sensor for heat to the appliance is defective.
07 Flue-cleaning function switched on.
10 Absence of signal from flow-switch pump.
12 Sensor for hot-water cylinder is defective.
14 Disconnection of controls because of ionisation during standstill.
16 Fan speed alarm
17 Absence of ionisation (caused by the modulation printed circuit board)
22 Request for programming of parameters
23 Disconnection of room thermostat. Restart normal operation by pressing

the restart button, which is located on the thermostat.

24 Thermostat for floor heating (if installed)

31 Remote control is incompatible (if installed).

Messages [07] and [25] are not error messages.

Control and safety devices

The boiler conforms to all of the requirements under the relevant European
guidelines and is fitted with the following devices:

• Potentiometer for heating control
This sets the maximum flow temperature in the heating circuit.  The tem-
perature can be set from a minimum of 25

°

C to a maximum of 85

°

C (or

45

°

C).  To increase the temperature, turn the thermostat (9) clockwise,

and vice versa to lower the temperature.

• Potentiometer for hot-water temperature
This sets the maximum temperature of the water.  The temperature can be
set from a minimum of 10

C (frost protection function) to a maximum of

C.  To increase the temperature, turn the thermostat (10) clockwise,

and vice versa to lower the temperature.
For energy-saving operation, we recommend that the thermostat be set to

Electronic flame modulation

The electronic control device sets the output of the
burner, depending on the actual heating requirement and
the setting of the thermostats for heat (9) and hot water
