Initial Preparation

Unpack the fire unit by removing the polystyrene

packing piece complete with fitments and placing to

one side, then lift the fire from its box.

Electrical Connections

Electricity is supplied to the fire unit via the plug-and-
cable assembly provided with the appliance.

The cable must be connected to the plug and socket
on the boiler base. This connection should be made at
the same time as the boiler electrical connections.

NOTE: The method of connection to the electricity

supply must facilitate complete electrical isolation

of the appliance. Connection may be made via a

fused double pole isolator with a contact

separation of at least 3mm (

in) in all poles

and serving the appliance and systems control

only (max. fuse rating 3 amp). A permanent

electricity supply to the boiler is required.

WARNING

THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. 4 core

input cable for connection to the boiler unit must

NOT be less than 0.75mm

(24 x 0.2mm) PVC heat

resistant to 70

C grade 1 to BS 6500 table 15 or 16.
