1. Sort laundry as follows...
•
Fabric type / Care label
Cotton, cotton/synthetic mix, synthetics, wool.
•
Colour
Separate white from coloured items. Wash new
coloured items separately.
•
Size
Washing articles of different size together
improves wash efficiency and distributes the load
better in the drum.
•
Fabric delicacy
Wash delicates separately: Select the appropriate
special programme for machine-washable
wool
, curtains and other delicate items.
Either remove curtain hooks or tie into a cloth bag.
Only wash machine-washable items! Wash small
items (e.g. Nylon stockings, belts etc.) and items
with hooks (e.g. bras) in a special wash bag or in a
zipped-up pillow case.
2. Empty pockets
Coins, safety pins etc. can damage your laundry,
the drum and the detergent container.
3. Fasteners
Close zips and fasten buttons or hooks.
Loose belts or ribbons should be tied together.
STAIN REMOVAL
•
Blood, milk, egg etc. are generally removed by the
automatic enzyme phase of the programme.
•
To remove red wine, coffee, tea, grass and fruit
stains. add a stain remover into the
detergent
dispenser.
•
Heavily soiled parts can be treated with a stain
remover if necessary.
LOADING THE WASH
1. Open the door.
2. Load the articles one at a time loosely into the
drum, without overfilling.
3. Close the door.

Note: Overloading the machine reduces the wash
efficiency and encourages creasing.
Note for continuous washing/drying:
If drying is to be carried out straight after the washing
cycle without interruption, the maximum permissible
load must be observed.
