DOOR LOCK

The door locks automatically after the
programme start until the end of the programme.

After the appliance has been switched on and
the desired programme has been selected, the
door is locked during the entire wash
programme. This also applies to programmes
which finish with “Rinse hold”
(see programme chart)

If the programme selector knob is set to position

or the electricity supply is interrupted, after

approx. two minutes the door is released.

PROGRAMME END

After a washing programme has finished, the
door can be opened in position   of the
programme sequence and the laundry removed.

Switch off the appliance by pressing the
“ON/OFF” button. The indicator light above the
button goes out.
Note:
Do not fully close the door but leave it ajar to
allow the drum to dry out.

Reselecting the programme

Prior to changing a programme the appliance
must be switched off.

Terminating a programme early - draining

To interrupt the active programme and drain:
1. Switch off the appliance.
2. Set programme selector knob to “Draining”.

Switch on the appliance.

3. The water is drained. Open door only when

selector knob is in the   position.

The washer-dryer is a condensing unit.
Therefore, the tap must be open during drying.

General Considerations

Fluffing

After drying of articles which fluff badly,
e.g. new terry weave items, we recommend
to carry out programme A in order to ensure
that any fluff, which may have collected in the
container, is drained and will not be
deposited on the laundry during a
subsequent washing programme.

Door lock

After the appliance has been switched on
and the desired programme has been
selected, the door is locked during the entire
drying programme.

Shrinking

Some materials (especially knits and terry
fabrics) may shrink to varying degrees. This
is mainly due to the fact that articles are
suspended in the drum whilst drying,
meaning that they are not subject to
stretching on a line.

Such items should only be dried using
programme “Wardrobe dry”.

Pulling and wearing such items will largely
compensate any shrinkage. When
purchasing such articles, these shrinkage
characteristics should be taken into account
when choosing sizes.
