Intake Filter

Description
(See 3.1-7). A dry micronic filter is used to filter intake air.
3.1.3.2
Maintenance
The vacuum in the intake filter is monitored by the Service Indicator (1). When the preset vacuum pressure is
reached the indicator changes to red and the Filter Element (3) should be replaced as follows.
1. Open clips on Filter Housing (4) and remove Cover (2).
2. Remove the Filter Element (3).
3. Clean the inside of the Filter Housing with a damp cloth. Take care to prevent any dust from entering
the intake manifold.
4. Replace the Filter Element (3).
5. Mount the Cover (1) and fasten with the clips.
6. Reset the Service Indicator (1) by pressing the button.
