• Neither the power supply cable, nor the plug, nor the product itself may come in
contact with water or other liquids. Never pour fluids on the housing. There is a
danger of a life-threatening electric shock!
• Do not connect the plug of the power supply cable of the device with the cigarette
lighter socket if the power supply cable, plug or product openings are wet.
• If you will not be using the product, disconnect the plug of the power supply cable
from the cigarette lighter socket.
•
Never wind the power supply cable around the product. Do not kink the cable. This
may damage the power supply cable.
• Lay the cable such that it does not come in contact with hot parts of the device.
• Never pull on the cable to move the product. Make sure that the cable does not get
caught accidentally, which may cause the product to fall.
• Never connect the product to an AC source.
• Do not use the device with a separate timer, a separate telecontrol system or other
equipment that switch on the device automatically. There is a danger of fire in such
a case, if the device is covered or incorrectly positioned.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.

Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualified shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
• Attention, LED light:
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!

Mounting
Only install the mount in the passenger space, but not in the boot.
Install the mount such that it cannot obstruct the driver's view.
Do not install the mount within the deployment radius of the airbags.
Make sure that the mount cannot detach during travel.
Pay attention that no cables are damaged when drilling the screw holes.
•
Look for an appropriate place to install the product. To install the product, you can use either
the adhesive strap or the screws.
•
Use the supplied screws if you wish to fasten the product permanently. There are two
mounting holes on the stand foot (6).
Operation
Do not use the product for more than 20 minutes. After this maximum operating time,
allow the product to cool for at least 5 minutes before using it again.
Keep a sufficient distance from the windscreen or other surfaces to avoid damage
by excessive heat.
• Plug the power cable plug (8) into the cigarette lighter socket.
• Place the product on the dashboard or another desired place.
• Switch on the product by turning the ON/OFF switch (2) on the back of the device to the I
position.
• When using the product in the dark, you can switch on the LED light (5) by turning the ON/
OFF switch of the LED light (3) on the upper side of the device to the I position.
• If you want to use the product for defrosting, pull out the fold-out handle (4).
• Direct the product at the windscreen and move it slowly back and forth. Paying most attention
to the heavily frozen areas, proceed until the windscreen is defrosted.

Intended use
The product is to be used as a heat source in vehicles, caravans or boats. The heat is produced
by the ceramic heating element. The product is suitable for defrosting of iced-up windows or
as a foot warmer, for example. The power is supplied via a vehicle cigarette lighter socket.
This product is designed for use in the interior of vehicles, caravans or boats. Do not use it
outdoors. Never expose it to moisture.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

During operation, make certain there is a sufficient distance to other objects to
ensure the free flow of air.
• Bear in mind that the product can become hot, especially in the area of the air
outlet grille, after a long period of use. Therefore, do not touch the air outlet grille
after the product has been used. There is a danger of burns. If in doubt, allow the
product to cool before touching it.
• Do not cover the product (e.g. with a blanket) to avoid overheating of the product.
• Also observe the safety and operating instructions of any other devices which are
connected to the product.
