Before connecting the system together ensure that all components to be connected in the 
system are switched off. For correct installation of the 2050 transceiver please refer to the 
“Barrett 2050 Operating and Installation Manual” supplied. 
 
Connect the 25way connector supplied from the 2050 transceiver “AUXILIARY 
CONNECTOR” to the 2060 Interconnect “TRANSCEIVER” connector. 
 
Connect the power leads from the 2022 power supply to the 2050 transceiver and 
the 2060 Interconnect. 
 
Connect a suitable antenna to the 2050 transceiver “ANTENNA” socket. 
 
If a speaker is required plug it into the 2060 “SPEAKER” socket. 
 
For an installation where no operator will be required only the PSTN line needs to 
be connected. This is connected to the 2060 “LINE” socket. 
 
If an operator is needed then a phone handset needs to be connected to the 2060 
“PHONE” socket.

Once all of the required cables are connected the 2060 can be turned on and
