Insert one or two strips of newspaper into
the space between the reel cutter (cutting
cylinder) and the bed knife (bottom blade)
at an angle of 90 degrees. Then, rotate the
reel cutter (cutting cylinder) counter-
clockwise (when you face the mower unit
from the left) by hand to check the
sharpness of the entire range (three or four
points from the left edge to the right one) of
the reel cutter (cutting cylinder).

Adjust the position of the cam bush so that
a newspaper is cut smoothly at both ends
of the reel cutter.

Once the position of the cam bush is
adjusted, mark the position of the punch
mark on the mower with a marker.

Important
If there were any of 1 to 5 pieces of washer for
clearance adjustment between the fulcrum
seat and the frame, set them to clear the gap.
Tighten the fulcrum seat to the right and left
frames with the bolt, S washer, washer.
