1. Raise the #2 and #3 deck.
1) Pull out the pin with grip (19-19), and shift the deck horizontally.

Set the parking brake, lower the mower units, and remove key from ignition switch.

2) Insert the pin with grip in the fixed hole
for the maintenance.
7. Maintenance of the mower unit
Grinding and balancing of the rotary blade 7-1
1) Grind the edge of the blade on the rotary blade by a grinder.
2) After grinding, use it after maintaining right-and-left balance by using a knife balancer
system.

● If it is used while the balance of the rotary blade is bad, vibration
will come out and the machine will be damaged.
Warning
● When you grind the blade, use an eye protector and gloves.
Caution
3) Attach the blade balancer system to a
suitable place, insert the rotary blade in
the balancer system, and maintain right-
and-left balance.

3) Start the engine and raise the deck.
4) Stop the engine and remove the key.
5) Lift the deck from the front, put the pin
(19-5) in the position shown in the
figure, and fasten it.
