3. Recipient details tab: In this tab the name and email address of the intended recipient of the data need to
be entered. A text box is available to add a personal message to the email notification that will be sent to
the recipient. The collaboration request cannot be sent unless patient consent has been obtained and
confirmed via a checkbox.
Receiving a collaboration request
The recipient of a collaboration request will be notified by email. When the recipient is a Demetra user, they
will have access to all received collaboration requests through their existing Demetra account. When the
recipient is no Demetra user, they will receive an onboarding email with temporary password to create a
Demetra
‘ guest ’ account (see “ Activation ” , page 12 ). Once this guest account has been onboarded, the same
credentials can be used to access all Demetra collaboration requests received on the same email address.
The link in the email received by the recipient provides direct access to the shared patient information in the
Demetra Web Application, after completing a limited guest user onboarding procedure (for first time users)
(see
“ Configuration (guest user) ” , page 14 ) or after login (for existing users). The recipient has the option to
provide a comment.
The Demetra collaboration functionality is intended for sharing patient data for informational
purposes only, not for diagnostic purposes.
For a complete overview of all collaboration requests (of all patients), go to the Collaboration tab in the top
menu at the left hand side of the Demetra Web Application. There are two subtabs available:
• Requests shared by you : shows all collaboration requests (reports) you have shared with other medical
professionals
• Requests shared with you : shows all collaboration requests (reports) you have received from other
Demetra users
Guest users will only see the subtab Requests shared with you , as they are not able to initiate collaboration
requests themselves. All reports can be downloaded in PDF format.
Collaboration requests for a selected patient, shared by you with another (guest) user, are also available on
the
Reports tab, when selecting the Collaboration requests subtab on the left hand side.
