Linearity adjustment
What can be done ?
For the standard projectors, the horizontal & vertical linearity adjustment functions correct for horizontal and vertical non-linearities
which extend from the center of the image to the left and right of the image or to the top and bottom of the image.
For the projectors equipped with the optional linearity adjustments, a fine vertical and horizontal linearity adjustment is added.
Start up
To start up the linearity adjustment :
1. push the cursor key é or ê to highlight 'Linearity' (menu 1).
2. press ENTER to select.
If a standard projector : the linearity adjustment starts up (menu 2).
Adjust the vertical linearity with the cursor key é or ê until the distances between the horizontal lines of the set up pattern are
equal from top to bottom and adjust the horizontal linearity with the cursor key ç or è until the distance between the vertical
lines of the set up pattern are equal from left to right (image1).
If the projector is equipped with the optional linearity option, menu 3 will be displayed.

Fine horizontal size adjustment
What can be done ?
The horizontal size can be extra fine tuned.
Start up
1. Push the cursor key é or ê to highlight 'Fine H Size' (menu 1)
2. Press ENTER to select.
3. Use the cursor keys to fine tune the horizontal size.
Select with é or ê
then <ENTER>
<EXIT> to return.
